A great day out, open only certain days of the year, a window to see how the other half live, now in the hands of the NT a must see.
Well worth the trip. One of my all time favourite gardens. Remember you need to book in advance either online or via telephone.

Although the weather was poor, we still had wonderful day. The Staff have us a talk about the history of the house and gardens. Then we were able to see the gardens and heated swimming pool. Great place to visit.
