It was a challenge finding the right type and size of stove to replace our fireplace whilst protecting the surround. The Stove House advised and installed exactly what we were looking for. We are thrilled with a woodburner that is so efficient in generating heat and comforting us through those cold winter nights.
We originally thought we would replace an old open fire with an electric stove but having been given a review of the pros and cons of both electric and wood burner by Lara we opted for the latter. Andrew then visited and pointed us to options that were practical given our fireplace. We thank both for their patience advice and excellent solution. The installers were also superb, very efficient neat and tidy. Overall a pleasurable experience and a wonderful fire for us to enjoy those winter nights!
Decided after moving into a house and finding that the old open fire smoked the room out that we needed a wood burning stove. Searched for local companies and Stove House came out top. Process to get some initial ideas (there are lots to choose from), to site survey to final decision was all straightforwards. Installation was quick, took around 1/2 day (took longer for us to clean up the old fireplace). Very happy with the stove and the service we received
